Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

Ready for the easiest smoothie evah?  I'm all for something quick and easy and we love peanut butter and banana, yum!!  I've raised my Precious's to know that peanut butter and banana sandwiches are called "King Sandwiches" because the King of Rock-n-Roll loved him some pb and banana! 

You need 8 oz milk, 1 banana, and 2 tablespoons peanut butter.  (adapted from fitnessmagazine.com)

 

Blend, blend, blend, and enjoy!

 

 

 

This is very filling, thick, and delicious!  It's even good if you make it and store it in the fridge for a while.  It's like a banana milkshake...

One of my friends called this the best "stuff store" ever and I have to agree!!  They have EVERYTHING!!  Every price range, picture frames, home decor, wall hangings, wreaths, gifts, kitchen accessories, baby gifts, trays, candle holders, seasonal, and more...

 

 

Dear Lord, thank you that Hot Pink is not closer to my house or I would be broke and living in a cardboard box.  A very nicely decorated cardboard box...

My favorite is the Brown Butter Almond Brittle.  Ok, did I mention how yummy it is?  Lactose Intolerance Girl give Jeni's 2 thumbs up!!

Ice creams built from the ground up with grass-grazed cream and the most flavorful ingredients they can find from around the world.

Flavors like: Brambleberry Crisp.  Black Coffee.  Goat Cheese With Red Cherries.  Pumpkin Pie 5 Spice.  Queen City Cayenne.  Root Beer.  Roasted Strawberry Buttermilk.  Ugandian Vanilla Bean.

Fun!  And yummy!  Oh, I already mentioned that...

I think I'm in love.

Puffy Muffin

Jim says to me, let's go to breakfast.  Somewhere different...

Sooooo... I say, how 'bout The Puffy Muffin?

We've never been, we heard it was good, so we headed that way!  The Puffy Muffin is located in Brentwood, right off Franklin Road.  There are a whole host of wonderful shops in this plaza!!

I thought they only served pastries, so I was surprised when we were seated and handed menu's!

We both ordered cheese omelets, cheese grits, and a biscuit.  We love cheese!  :)
It was delicious! 

Worth the drive, and we'll definitely be back!

Mascara Crisis!

There is nothing worse than getting mascara on your skin!  Is there an easy way to get mascara off your skin without ruining your makeup?  Yes, there is...

 

 

 

 

First, don't panic!  Let the mascara completely dry and just wipe it off with a Q-tip.

And ta-dah!  That's it!  I did not touch up my eyeshadow at all after I finished.  Easy and clean.

My new very favorite restaurant of all time is Eastland Cafe!

 

Have mercy, it was simply the best meal evah!   You know when we get to heaven and have our heavenly banquet?  Well, I know God's got his eye on the chef at Eastland.

 

Located in East Nashville, they accept reservations but we popped in without them.

My sister and I went and we split a ribeye with sauteed 'shrooms and the mac-n-cheese.

 

Ok, the steak MELTED in my mouth! Mouth-watering wonderfulness!

 

The mushrooms simply burst with amazing flavor. The yummiest, most fabulous mushrooms on the planet!

Alright, let's talk mac-n-cheese.

Really?   So good I almost ordered some to take home to eat the next day.   Mac-n-cheese with green chiles.   Mac-n-cheese perfection.  It doesn't get better than this. 

Amazing atmosphere and I can't wait to go back!  Oh and I hear happy hour is da bomb dot com!

No Lips? No Problem!

I adore lip liner.  Always have, always will.  It defines your lips, shows off your shape, enhances your lips.  And if your lips need a little help, then it's your best friend.

Here's a friend of mine who has the tiniest upper lip ever.

My lip tutorial: Perfect Pout gives more detail on everything for perfect lips.  Here we're just going to focus on perfecting what God gave us. 

Use your liner to outline your lips and give them more shape.  I used gloMinerals Lip Liner in Petal.

Continue filling in, add lipstick, and gloss.  I used gloMinerals Lip Stick in Rose Petal and gloGloss in Coconut.

 

Her lips look fabulous!  So beautiful and natural!
